Leonard D. Cross, 64, of Lake Odessa passed away Oct. 23, 2011 at his home 
surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 6, 1947 in Lansing, the son of 
Ralph and Velma (Sach) Cross.



Leonard graduated from Lakewood High School in 1966. He married Kathleen 
Kennedy March 8, 2002 in Woodland. He worked at Fisher Body in Lansing for 
32years until retiring and later at the Caledonia Grain Elevator in Lake Odessa 
for 11 years.



Leonard was a member of the Charlotte Eagles and the Lake Odessa Sportsman 
Club. He loved to hunt, shoot pool, and ride his motorcycle.



Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, of Lake Odessa; sons Richard 
(Ashley) Cross of Ionia, James Cross of Ionia and Clark (Kim) Cross of Lansing; 
step-children, Carrie Kennedy of St. Johns, Robert Robinson of Lake Odessa and 
Lacey Robinson of Lake Odessa; grandchildren, Jeffery, Gabriel, Cory, 
Johnnathan, Rachael and Kimberli; four step-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond 
Cross of Lake Odessa;)and a sister, Betty (Don) Kenyon of Sunfield. 



He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Louis Cross; and one 
sister, Rosalie Bartlett; 



Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Pastor Chuck Jensen officiating. Online condolences may be made at
