Joyce E. Cross, 62, of 6077 Lincoln Lake Road, Belding, died Monday, Feb.  25,
2002, at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor.  She was born on June 14,
1939, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of George R. and LaVera I. Cox Trimble.

She is survived by her life-long partner, Chet Osytek of Belding; her daughters
and son-in-law, Julie Chlebek of Rockford, Tracy and Bruce Sorensen of Cedar
Springs, Nancy and Ben Husted of Grand Rapids; son-in-law, Phil Hilton of Ionia;
several nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Sue Trimble
of Alma, Bruce and Ellie Trimble of Sparta; and nine grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Hilton, in 1988; and a grandson, Jordan
Sorensen, in 1990.  

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, with the
Rev. Kendall Harger, officiating.  Interment is in Greene Cemetery, Belding. 
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
