The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, May 29, 1931

Funeral services for Mrs. Orpha B. Crowell were held at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Emelander, of Berlin, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 and at the 
Wesleyan Methodist church at 2 o’clock with Rev. W. H. Bugbee in charge.  
Interment took place in the Letts cemetery.

Mrs. Crowell died at the home of the daughter Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Peter Gallagher and Mrs. Fred Parr, of Ionia, provided the music and the 
bearers were George Thorp, Isaac Johnson, Freeman Thorp, Claude Thomas, Jacob 
Emelander, and D. Thorp.
