Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Dec. 9, 2012

On Dec. 9, 2012, James Culp, of Zephyrhills, Fla., and formerly of Ionia, went 
home to be with his Lord.

James was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Culp, and his mother, 
Evelyn; brother, Fred (Vonnie); and sister Jean Lake. He was also preceded in 
death by June and Marilyn Culp.

He is survived by his wife MaryAnn; son Richard (Patti); daughter Belinda Klein 
(Russell); brother David (Julie) Culp; sister Donna Craft; stepson Michael 
Weesner; several grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and 
nephews. 

James retired after 28 years with State of Michigan Corrections. He served in 
the Army during the Korean War.

He has lived in Zephyrhills, Fla., for the last 15 winters.

He will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. A memorial will be held 
in the spring.
