Lake Odessa - Margaret E. Culver, 70, of Lake Odessa; died Friday at the Ionia
County Memorial Hospital.  She was born the daughter of Emery and Ivah Smith
Hayes on March 24, 1921, in Ionia County.

She married Robert M. Culver on April 14, 1952, in Ionia and they lived in the
Lake Odessa area for 38 years.  For 16 years, she cleaned homes and businesses
in the Ionia area.  She attended the Nazarene Church in Ionia and Lake Odessa.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Robert Taylor of Grand Rapids,
Richard Taylor of Ionia, Ronald Taylor of Lake Odessa, and Roger Taylor of
Lakeview; three daughters Rosalie Brown of Iowa, Ruth Ann Hinkel of Arizona,
Rhoda McKenzie of Lake Odessa; 19 grandchildren; and several great
grandchildren; her mother, Ivah Hayes of Ionia; two brothers, Dale Hayes and
Robert Hayes of Ionia; and two sisters Velma High of Pinconning and Vione Schwab
of Ionia.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Lawrence Taylor in 1987 and one
brother Emery in 1944.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene in
Ionia, with the Rev. Kirk Starkweather officiating.  The organist will be
Rosalie Starkweather.  The soloist will be Patty Misner.  Burial will be in
Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Pall bearers will be Todd Taylor, Scott Taylor, Jeremy
Taylor, Rich Rybicki, Michael Rybicki and Christopher Rybicki.  The family will
be at the Myers Memorial Chapel in Ionia Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30
p.m.  A memorial has been established for the Church of Nazarene Memorial Fund,
in care of the church.
