Portland Observer – Wednesday, 9 January 1894
Died – In Danby on the 31st ult., Miss Amelia H. Culver, aged 45 years.  She 
was the sister of Supervisor Geo. Culver of Danby township, and the funeral 
services were conducted from his home on the 2d inst., Rev. W. P. French of 
Portland officiating.  Interment was made in the Danby cemetery.
