Mrs. Culver had been an invalid for more than two years, and in her weakened condition was unable to rally. From the time she was seized with her last illness attending physicians held out no hope for her recovery. Elmira Wallace was born in Concord, Vermont, December 24, 1848, being exactly 65 years and three months of age at the time of her death. She came to Michigan about 30 years ago. Before locating in this state, however, she was married to Henry Plumber; there being one son, George Plumber, of Lyons, and a daughter, Mrs. Jos. Cook, of Danby, who survive this marriage. In 1900 deceased was married to George Culver, who survives her. Mrs. Culver also has an aged sister residing at Lyons who was unable to attend the funeral. Rev. John. H.. Stewart, of the Baptist church, officiated at the last rites which were held at the residence in Danby at 2:00 o’clock this (Thursday) afternoon. The remains were interred in the Danby township cemetery.
