              KENNETH CUMMINS DIES IN G. R. HOSPITAL

SPINAL MENINGITIS DEVELOPED AFTER MASTOID OPERATION  . 

    SON OF MRS. CHARLES HUNTZINGER, FUNERAL FRIDAY

                                      -----------

   Last Thursday, Kenneth Cummins was brought home from the Blodgett hospital, where
he had undregone a 
mastoid operation.  Seemingly he was recovering nicely when he was suddenly taken
worse Saturday night 
and was taken back to the hospital where it was found that spinal meningitis had
developed.   

   His mother Mrs. Anna Huntizinger and his wife were constantly at his bedside and
all that medical skill could 
do was done, but he died at about 10 o'clock Tuesday evening.

   The funeral will be held in the Huntizinger home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

   Kenneth was a graduate of our high school and recently completed his work in
pharmacy at Ferris Institute 
ready for his life work.  He was married in late spring.

   Kenneth was an ambitious boy with an interest in photography which gave him work
in this line, he also 
spent some time in the service of the United States in Texas.  He was about 24 years
of age.
