Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Feb 1944

Frank Cunningham, 76, for many years a resident of Muir and Lyons, died Monday 
evening in the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.J. Voorheis, who lives south of 
Saranac.  He had been in poor health for some time.  Surviving him besides his 
daughter is a son, Harold Cunningham of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw 
funeral chapel, Muir.  Rev. P.S. Mercer, pastor of Lyons Baptist church, will 
officiate and burial will be in Lyons cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Steven 
Kimball, Lloyd Burger, Ellis Cook and Albert Cook.
