Mrs. Florence Esther Cunningham, 68, of Lansing, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday at 
Lansing General hospital where she was a patient two weeks.  She was born in 
Lyons, March 18, 1895, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur G. Bennett, and attended 
Lyons high school.  December 23, 1916, she was married to Herbert I. Cunningham 
and soon after moved to Lansing.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert; one son, Leon of Lansing; four 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Wilbur Bennett of Lyons.  
Burial will be at Lyons and funeral arrangements will be announced.

Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert Cunningham of Lansing were held Thursday at 
the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home in Lansing at 11 a.m. with graveside 
services at Lyons cemetery at 2 p.m.  Rev. Gerald Hedlund of Lyons officiated.  
Bearers were Clyde Dickerson, Floyd and Edward Waters, Ernest E. English, 
Robert Chepy and Roy Richmond.

Relatives and other friends from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Weston 
Hartman and son, Richard, Bay City; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hartman, Ionia; Mr. and 
Mrs. Stephen Kimball, Lyons; Willis Mygrants, Mrs. Donald Lietzke, St. Johns; 
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johns, Eaton Rapids; Frank Kimball, Charlotte; Mrs. Ira 
Dickerson, Mrs. Fred Peters, Ithaca; Mrs. Chester Bronson, Williamston; Mr. and 
Mrs. Norris Coalwell, Mrs. Lester Grice, Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clements, 
Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Montague, Holt.
