Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Mar 1967

Herbert I. Cunningham, 71, died Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Sheridan community 
hospital where he had been a patient three weeks.  He was born October 16, 
1895, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cunningham in Lyons and attended rural 
school and Lyons high school.  He had been a resident of Lansing the past 40 
years.  A custodian at state library he had also done clerical work for 
Oldsmobile division of General Motors in Lansing, retiring in 1962. 

His wife the former Florence Bennett preceded him in death January 1964.  
Surviving are one son, Leon B. Cunningham of Lansing; four grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles Voorhees of Saranac.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Gorsline-Runciman funeral home, 
Lansing.  Graveside services at 12 noon at Lyons cemetery.
