Cecil F. Cunningham, 79, of Route 1, Lake Odessa, died Friday afternoon at
Pennock Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.  He was born June
28, 1900, in Campbell Township, the son of Seymour and Blanche (Lovell) Cunningham.

Mr. Cunningham attended Lake Odessa schools and was married to Lottie Gilliland
on March 18, 1921, in Ionia.  She proceeded him in death on Feb. 25, 1975.

Mr. Cunningham was a life-long resident of the Lake Odessa area and was a sexton
at Lakeside Cemetery for several years before retiring in 1972.  He was a member
of the Lakeside Grange and the Pinhook Farm Bureau.

He is survived by three sons, Darold of Charlotte; Arnold and Dale, both of Lake
Odessa; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Phoebe
Blount of Durand.  One son, Ronald, proceeded him in death in 1948.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.  The Rev. Glen Rairigh will officiate.  Burial
will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
