SARAH L. CUNNINGHAM
Sarah L. Cunningham, 83, died Saturday evening at her Muir, route 1, home.

Born in North Plains township February 19, 1890, she was the daughter of Thomas and
Elizabeth Cusack Welch.

In January of 1918, she was married to Patrick Cusack and he died in 1958. She
attended St.John the Baptist school in Hubbardston, Ionia County Normal and graduated from
Mt. Pleasant Normal. She was a member of St. Johns the Baptist church and its Altar
Rosary society. She also belonged to American Legion auxiliary of Hubbardston.

Surviving are three sons, Elmer of Ionia, Clare of Grand Rapids and Albert of
Hubbardston; 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at St. Johns the Baptist church in
Hubbardston. Rev. Eugene R. Fox will officiate and interment will be at the church cemetery.
Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 pm at Estep funeral home north of Muir.
