The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 13, 1939
Mrs. Elizabeth Cunningham, 84, a resident of Hubbardston for 50 years, died 
Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hubbardston following a brief illness.  She was born March 
24, 1853 in New York, and came to Michigan a few years after her marriage in 
1873 to Andrew Cunningham.  She is survived by four sons, James, Patrick, 
Thomas and Andrew of Hubbardston; three daughters, Mrs. Celia McGraw of Carson 
City, Mrs. Marie Cogswell of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Frank Wizorek of Ionia; 24 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 
the Catholic Church of which Mrs. Cunningham was a member for many years.  
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
