Curler, 73, of Belding died Wednesday evening, April 23, 2003, at Spectrum Health—Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids. She was born November 9, 1929 in Wayne County, the daughter of Irvin and Irene Ouillette. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandparent. Alice enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic who loved her lord. Alice and her husband, Jack Curler, were longtime Standard Oil agents. She had retired from Frigidaire in Greenville in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters; daughter, Jacqueline Curler Mast; and husband, Jack Curler. She is survived by her children, Susan J. Goodsell of Belding, Kenneth Robert and Sharon Curler of Fenwick; Cindy L. and David Antcliff, John D. and Deb Curler, Terry A. Curler, all of Belding, Joseph and Cheryl Curler of Palo; grandchildren Dennis Curler, Bryan Curler, Todd Anderson, Ben Goodsell, Brooke Goodsell, Brandi Goodsell, Rob Balcome, Matt Curler, Lindsey Curler, Amber Antcliff Rood, Lisa Antcliff, Chad Antcliff, Marcus Antcliff, Chastity and Brian Edlefson, Sara Eickhoff, Levi Curler, Tabitha Curler, Tyler Curler, Trevor Curler; step-grandchildren, Michelle Woodard, Tony Himebaugh, Allen Himebaugh; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bud Ouillette of George; and close personal friends, Ron Robach and Marie Eickenroth. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Father Troy A. Nevins officiating. Interment is in Otisco Township Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alvah N. Belding Library. Mother, to the one who bears the sweetest name, and adds luster to the same, long life to her for there’s no other who takes the place of our dear mother.
