Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 8 Aug 1949

Mrs. Florence Currie, 73, widow of Charles R. Currie, died at her home in Los
Angeles, Calif., Friday.  The Curries lived in Ionia at one time.

She leaves a son, Kenneth, of Los Angeles, Calif.

The body will be flown from Los Angeles to Chicago and will arrive in Ionia at
1:55 a.m. Wednesday.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

[Transcriber's Note::  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.]
