The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 3, 1930
Mrs. Edna Barbara Currie, 36, died at the Belding hospital Wednesday, at 8:45 
in the morning of a complication of anemia and Diabetes and the funeral 
services were held at the Fitzjohn funeral Parlor Friday.

She leaves her husband, Hollis Currie, to whom she was married over six years 
ago, her mother, Mrs. Charles Mall of Lansing: two brothers, Edward of 
Portland and Harry of Greenville.  Mr. and Mrs. Currie were former South Ionia 
residents and later moved to Jackson and from there to Belding.
