                            Long Time President Dead
Mrs. Truman Currie, aged 76 years died at her home 910 Alderman street Tuesday 
afternoon at about three o'clock following a long illness which was caused by 
cancer, followed by paralysis and a complication of diseases. Mrs. Currie was a 
splendid, good hearted neighbor and her passing, thought expected for some 
time, will be learned of with regret by her legion of friends who have known 
her for many years, practically her entire life having been spent in this 
community. Funeral services will be held at the home on Thursday afternoon at 
two o'clock and burial will be in River Ridge cemetery.
