Curry, supervisor of Danby township, who had been in a hospital in that city for treatment. The remains were brought to the home of George Stiffler and funeral services held at the Congregational church, in charge of Rev. J. H. Stewart, Tuesday. Mr. Curry had been in poor health for some time and about two months ago went to the home of his son, Will, in Detroit, later going to the hospital for an operation for the drainage of his gall bladder. Since the operation he steadily grew worse, passing away Saturday. Mr. Curry was 65 years of age. He was born in Danby spending his entire lifetime in this community. His wife who died five years ago was formerly Miss Clista Stiffler, a sister of George Stiffler. He is survived by two sons, Will and Lee. One brother, Charles, also survives. Mr. Curry was prominent in county politics, serving for several terms as supervisor of Danby Township, being elected each time on the democrat ticket. His son, Lee, is a fireman on an ocean ship and visited his father at the hospital a few days before he died.
