Alvin L. Curtis, age 81, of Cedar Springs, passed away Sat., Feb. 5, 2005.  He 
was born May 30, 1923, in Ionia, the son of Alvin and Vera (Coy) Curtis.  He 
was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald; wife Gail.

Surviving are his sister, Coralie (Joseph) Lodden of Pierson; sister-in-law 
Thera Curtis of Ionia; and one niece and six nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Schrauben-Lehman Funeral 
Home, in Ionia, conducted by the Rev. Donald Turkleson, Pastor of the Sand Lake 
United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time 
of the service on Wednesday.  Interment will take place at Woodard Lake 
Cemetery, Ionia.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 
family in memory of Mr. Alvin L. Curtis.
