Lyons Herald, 14 Nov 1912

Mrs. Daniel Curtis died at her home in the village, Tuesday, Nov. 12, after an 
illness of several weeks.

Rena M. Whitman and Daniel Curtis were married November 26, 1887, at the 
Presbyterian manse in Muir by the Rev. Ransom.  Deceased was a daughter of 
Alfred Stone of North Plains, where she resided until sixteen years of age.  
She leaves a husband to mourn her loss, also a son and daughter by a former 
marriage.  She was a kind neighbor, devoted wife and has been a great sufferer 
for the past twenty years.

The funeral will be held today from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. D. Faxon.  
Interment in the Lyons cemetery.
