The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 11, 1933

Mrs. Lillie Curtis, who died at her home east of here Thursday, was an 
earnest, faithful Christian worker, going often beyond her strength to do 
good.  It can be said of her: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”  
Funeral services were held Monday from the home at 12:45 and at Shanty Plains 
United Brethren church at two o’clock.  Burial was in Woodard Lake cemetery.
