The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 19, 1975

Mrs. Nettie Curtis, 99, route 2, Lake Odessa, died Tuesday morning at the 
Ionia Manor where she had been a patient five months.  Born October 22, 1975, 
in Ashland county, Ohio, she was the daughter of Henry and Jane Hartwood 
Priest.  She was the last of a family of seven sisters and two brothers.

She was married to Earl Curtis in Hastings August 20, 1913, and was a lifelong 
resident of the Woodbury and Lake Odessa areas.  Her husband died December 26, 
1952.  She was a member of the Calvary United Brethren church.  Her only 
survivors are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at 
Lake Odessa.  Rev. George Speas will officiate and burial is in Lakeside 
cemetery.
