Ionia County News, 15 Jan 1942

Thad Curtis, 57, a former Easton township farmer, died Sunday afternoon at four 
o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ora Waldo of Keene township who had been 
caring for him.  He had been ill for some time.  He is survived by his invalid 
wife Mae, and one sister, Mrs. Nettie Raeth of Shelby.  Funeral service was held 
Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Morris Funeral Home.  Rev. Paul Champlin 
officiated and burial was in Saranac Cemetery.
