The Ionia County News, Thursday, January 23, 1936

Mrs. Harry E. Curtis died at her home in Easton township Tuesday evening, 
January 21, after several month’s illness.  For the past three weeks she had 
been a patient in the U of M. Hospital, Ann Arbor, and returned home Monday, 
the day before her death.  

She was born in Grand Rapids, July 26, 1874, but had lived in Easton for many 
years.  Surviving relatives are her husband, Harry E. Curtis; two sons, Louie 
of Kalamazoo and Kenneth of Easton; a daughter, Mrs. Victor Meyers, Kalamazoo 
and one grandson.  Three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Robinson, Chicago; Mrs. Nellie 
Roth, Sturgis, and Mrs. Mildred Wheeler of Florida.

Funeral services will be held from the home in Easton at two o’clock Friday 
afternoon, with burial in Saranac cemetery.  Rev. Frank Loomis will officiate.
