The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 13, 1949

Services were held Tuesday, December 6, at the Morris funeral home in Saranac 
for Harry E. Curtis, 74, who died suddenly Saturday, Dec. 3.  The Rev. Glen 
McCarty officiated.  Interment was in Saranac cemetery.  Bearers were Irving 
Curtis, Ray Hatherley, Robert Ingraham, Glen Weeks, Nels Nelson and Arthur 
Campagner.

Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the services were T-Sgt. and Mrs. 
Louis Curtis of Newport News, Va., S. N. Gordon Myers of Norfolk, Va., Mr. and 
Mrs. Kenneth Curtis and son, Mrs. Ralph Friend, Arthur Todd and Mr. and Mrs. 
George Friend of Vermontville, Mr. and Mrs. Ranseler Curtis of Coopersville, 
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hackett and Glen Curtis of Sparta, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest 
Benton of Belding and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hawley of Grand Rapids.
