Lake Odessa – Flossie A. Curtis, 89, of Lake Odessa died Thursday, Feb. 12, 
1998 at her residence.  She was born April 24, 1908 in Clarksville, the 
daughter of Alfred and Mary (Long) Bedell.  She married Lloyd Curtis, and he 
preceded her in death.  She taught school for several years and was a member of 
the Woodbury United Brethren Church.

She is survived by her cousins, Phyllis Garlinger of Nashville, Norman Richard 
Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rolene Maion of Mt. Vernon, Washington, Bernie 
Bedell of Lowell; and nieces, Dorothy (Ken) Priddy of Nashville, Ewilda 
Dillenbeck of Silver City, New Mexico, and Mary Jean (Ernest) Rasey of 
Nashville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998 at the Koops 
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Duane Walter and Rev. Brian Allbright 
officiating.  Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. 
to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.  Internment will be in Woodland Memorial Park, 
Woodland Twp.
