Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Jun 1971

Abby Jane Curtis, 86, died Monday evening at Bradenton, Fla., following an
extended illness.  She was born in Ionia county January 18, 1885, the daughter
of George E. and Abby Pray Curtis.  She was a retired postmaster of Belding and
had lived in Florida several years.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Clardy of California; two brothers, Ray
Curtis of Okemos and George of Grand Rapids.

Miss Curtis will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home where visitation will be
after noon Wednesday.  Graveside services will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at
Woodard Lake cemetery.  Rev. Robert McComb will officiate.
