Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Dec 1949

Harry E. Curtis, of Keene township, a life long resident of Ionia county, died 
suddenly of a heart attack Saturday while helping on the farm of a neighbor, 
Robert Ingraham, near Saranac.  Coroner Harry Myers of Ionia was called on the 
case.  

He was born in Easton township and had been a resident of the county all his 
life.

Surviving are the wife, Carrie; two sons, Louis Curtis of Newport News, Va., 
and Kenneth Curtis of Vermontville; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Myers of Ionia; 
two step-children, Mrs. Vada Courter of Saranac and Mrs. Ione Edwards of 
Vassar; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Morris funeral 
home with interment in Saranac cemetery.
