Funeral services will be held at the home north of Snow’s corners, Monday, at 12:45, and at Shanty Plains church at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Woodard Lake cemetery. Mrs. Curtis was a native of Michigan and had lived for 50 years on the farm where she died. She was among the earlier members of the Shanty Plains church and had worked with an untiring devotion for its interests. Surviving are her husband, Lewis Curtis; a daughter Mrs. Peter Gallagher of Ionia; four granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Mary Curtis of Barryton.
