Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Oct 1936

The funeral for Wilbur Curtis was held Thursday afternoon, October 1, at 2
o’clock from the Curtis home and it 2:30 from the Easton community church, Rev.
Frank Loomis read the services.  The bearers were Ralph White, Henry Pritchard,
William Hoffman, Leslie Sykes, Thad Curtis and George Taylor.  Mrs. Leslie Sykes
and Miss Vida Taylor had charge of the flowers.  Music was furnished by Mrs.
Robert Weisgerber and Mrs. Charles Mulholland, who were accompanied by Mrs. John
Metzger.

Those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Anne Cobb of Belding;
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nebuling, of Michigan Center; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Curtis and
Mr. and Mrs. Ranselar Curtis of Grand Rapids; William Cobb, of Belding; Harry
Curtis of Kalamazoo; Mr. and Mrs. Flint Curtis and daughter, Alice.

Burial was in the Saranac cemetery.
