The Ionia Daily Standard, Wednesday, October 16, 1918


Mrs. Gilbert Curtis, nee Adgate, was buried at 2:00 o’clock today, from the 
home of her parents in Saranac.  She leaves a husband and two children.  Coming 
from one of the oldest and most highly esteemed families of Ionia county, and 
herself being much beloved by a wide circle of acquaintances, her demise in 
middle life is greatly mourned.
