Warner Curtis, of Alto, a native of Albion, died this week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.T. Lustig? of Grand Rapids. She was born in 1862, and at the age of 10 came to Keene township. She graduated from Lowell high school in 1883 and taught in Kent and Ionia counties several years. She was married to Earl Curtis in 1886 and lived on the Curtis farm, Morse lake, for 41 years. Seven children survive. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister. She was the lecturer of the Kent county Pomona grange for six years. She was prominent in church activities. The funeral services were held Saturday at the Lowell Methodist Episcopal church.
