          GORDON WAYNE CURTIS  1938 - 2017
   Gordon Wayne Curtis, age 79, of Ionia, Passed away surrounded by his family, Aug.
19, 2017.
   He was born on Jan. 13, 1938, in Leroy Michigan, the son of Harold and Vivian
Curtis.  Gordon married Colleen Kneale in 1981.  He served in the Army during the 
Vietnam war.  He was a past member of Reed City VFW and loved to hunt and fish.
   Gordon is survived by his wife Colleen Curtis of Ionia; children Kelly (April)
Curtis of Leroy, Christine (Kerry) Shermerhorn of Paris, Michigan, and Alia Kingsbury 
of Ionia; grandchildren, Alison, Benjamin, Jessica, Greg, Hannah, Sarah and Maisy; 
and brother, Donald Curtis.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-son, Chad Kingsbury.
   Creation has taken place and there are no services at this time.
   Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Ionia VFW.
