December 15, 1982 CECIL M. CURTIS LAKE ODESSA-Cecil M. Curtis, 83, of 7976 Cochran road, Charlotte, died Dec. 10, at Ingham Medical center, Lansing. Born Aug. 10, 1899, in Yankee Springs, he was the son of Myrick and Mary Shantz Curtis. He attended Yankee Springs Schools and was married to Gertrude Klipfer Feb. 14, 1920. She preceded him in death in Dec. 1972. In 1973, he was married to Edna Walz in Nashville. She died in Sept 1961. On Oct. 29, 1962, he was married to Gladys Highlen Keiley in Vermontville. He was a farmer and also did construction. he attended the Vermontville Bible Church. Surviving are his wife Gladys; three daughters, Mrs.Carl (Ewilda) Dillenback of Hastings; Mrs.Kenneth (Dorothy) Priddy of Vermontville; and Mrs.Ernest (Mary Jean) Rasey of Nashville; a sister-in-law, Mrs.Flossie Curtis of woodland; 11 stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several step- grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday at 2 pm from the Vermontville Bible Church, the Rev. Paul Boger officiating. Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park. Arrangements were made by the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake Odessa.
