Services Held for Gertrude Curtis

Mrs. Gertrude H. Curtis, 71, of route one, Nashville, passed away Wednesday 
evening, Dec. 20, at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, where she was hospitalized for 
a week.

She was born near Hastings October 13, 1901, daughter of William and Ida 
(Geiger) Klipfer, February 14, 1920 she married Cecil M. Curtis of Woodland and 
was a lifelong resident of Barry and Eaton counties. 

Mrs. Curtis was a charter member of the Peoples Bible church of Nashville.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Karl (Ewilda) Dillenbeck of 
Woodland, Mrs. Ernest (Mary Jane) Rasey of Nashville and Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) 
Priddy of Charlotte; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Montgomery 
of Williamston, Mrs. Beatrice Bolter of Lansing and Francis Kilpfer of Grand 
Rapids. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 at the Peoples Bible church at 
Nashville. Rev. Bruce Higdon and Rev. LeRoy Kenney officiated with burial in the 
Woodland Memorial park.
