Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Mar 1964

Funeral service for Mrs. Addie David Curtiss, 83, widow of Gilbert Curtiss, was
held March 2 at Saranac.  Mrs. Curtiss died suddenly Friday at her Winter Park,
Fla., home where she had resided the past few years.  She was the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. L.C. David and was married in 1922 to Gilbert Curtiss who
preceded her in death.

Mrs. Curtiss, a schoolteacher 30 years, was also principal at the old Emerson
school in Ionia and superintendent at Muir school one year.

Burial was at Saranac cemetery.
