She married Larry Curtiss on August 31, 1991, at West Berlin Wesleyan Church. Elsie helped her husband run their farm. She attended West Berlin Wesleyan Church and was a former board member. She had a great sense of humor, was strong-willed and laser focused. She was a great organizer, loved Elvis and traveling, especially her trips to Alaska.She had a great big heart and would do everything for her grandchillren and children. Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Larry Curtiss of Lake Odessa, Children Ricky James (Kerry Ann) Kirkendall of Halifax,MA, Willard Noel (Christy) Kirkendall III of Twin Lake,Mark Edward Kirkendall of Muskegon and Larry Ryan Curtiss (Kayla Burns) of Lake Odessa. Grandchildren Kyle Kahler, Curtis Kirkendall, Derek Kirkendall, Mark Kirkendall, Aaron Bower,Jayden Bower, Larry Ryker Curtiss and Lydia Raeann Curtiss. Great-Grandchildren Ezekiel Kirkendall and James Kirkendall. Brother Vincent "Tito' Earl Perry of TN. Stepmother Carol Anne Petty of FL. Mother-in-law Carmen Curtiss of Lake Odessa. Stepsisters Beck (Mike) Hagmaier of FL and Debbie (Rick) Talley of TN and Sister-in-law Deborah (Paul) Talley of TN and Sister-in-law Deborah (Paul) Phillips of NY. Along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Ray Petty and father-in- law Larry Curtiss. A Celebration of Elsie's life will be held at West Berlin Wesleyan Church on Tuesday, May 13th at 11:00 am with Pastors John Williams and Bart Denny officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Ebenezer Center located across from the church and Tuesday from 10-11 am at the church.Interment at Clarksville Cemetery.Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Right Door for Hope, Recovery and Wellness for Autism Program.
