Joseph’s church Belding at 10 a.m. for Ann Marie Cusack, 56, Belding school teacher for many years. Miss Cusack died at United Memorial hospital at Greenville Wednesday morning after a three-day illness. She was born in North Plains township and was graduated from Ypsilanti high school and received her AB degree from Eastern Michigan university. After graduation she taught in rural Belding and later was principal at Muir going to Belding in 1933 to teach at the Washington grade school. Later she became principal at Ellis and Hallpark grade schools and served as the elementary supervisor of the Belding public schools. Until her death she was the fourth grade teacher at Hallpark grade school. She was active in school organizations being past president of Michigan Rural Teachers association and Ionia county MEA. She was a charter member of Sigma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, a national honor society for outstanding teachers. She as a member of St. Joseph church and its Rosary society. Surviving are two sisters, Helen A. Cusack of Belding and Mrs. Chester Hodges of Hastings. Burial will be at the St. Johns cemetery at Hubbardston.
