Later in life she came to America, and took up her residence in Monroe Co. N.Y. In 1856 she married Thomas Cusack, who, with his young wife, came to Michigan. They settled on a farm in the township of North Plains, where they lived in felicity until death claimed the wife and mother. Ten children blessed her marriage, nine of whom survive her. Deceased was a sincere Christian, ever patient, charitable and religious. Long shall her memory live in the hearts of all who knew her. The funeral services were largely attended from St. John’s church, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 1896. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery of the above named place.
