Cusack, 23, of Muir Route 1, died suddenly Monday, March 24, between 5 and 5:30 p.m. at his home. Cusack had been assisting his father on the farm and feeling ill, went to his room to rest. His father went to call him 45 minutes later and found the youth dying. He died before a doctor could be summoned. Cusack had been in ill health since he was nine years old. Coroner Wallace Jackson of Ionia was summoned and attributed death to heart failure due to overexertion. Surviving are the parents, Phillip and Margaret Cusack; three brothers, Manuel and Richard of Hubbardston and James of Montreal, Canada; and a sister, Angela Lipe of Evart. The body was removed to the Burns funeral home in Hubbardston pending funeral arrangements.
