Florence H. Cusack, 88, of Hubbardston, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at
Sanctuary at Bellbrook in Rochester Hills.

Florence was born Nov. 16, 1927, in North Plains Township, the daughter of
Charles and Anna (Pasch) Helms.  She married Richard “Dick” Cusack in 1945 at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.  Florence was a member of
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  She enjoyed music, doing crafts and
watching MSU women’s basketball.  Florence loved spending time with her
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Jeanne (Roy) Berry; Mary Jo (LaDell) Goodroad,
Fred Cusack, Charlie (Sharon) Cusack, Patty (Chris) Howlett, Larry (Cindy)
Cusack; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick, in 2012;
daughter-in-law Peggy Cusack; and siblings Chester helms, David Helms, Theo
White and Ella Mathis. 

A Mass of Christina Burial will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston with Fr. Tom Thompson
celebrating.  Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:30
p.m. at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.  In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to the Fr. Jim Cusack/St. John the Baptist Scholarship Fund.
