The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 27, 1984
Harold M. Cushion, 86, of 1900 Massachusetts, Lansing, died July 25 at a 
Lansing hospital.  He was born October 13, 1897 in Wellington, Ohio, the son 
of Pardon and Mabel (Manville) Cushion.  He was a retired REO employee.

He is survived by three sons, Richard of St. Petersburg and Larry and Dudley 
of East Lansing; three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Eedy of Lansing, Mrs. Donna 
Allen of Silver Lake and Mrs. Carol Montague of Grand Ledge.  Also surviving 
are 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, one brother, Donald of 
Laingsburg and one sister, Dorothy Kirby.  His wife Mary preceded him in 
death, as did a son, Harold Jr., and a daughter, Ruth Halversen.

The family will be at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland from 2 to 4 p.m. and 
from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 
Sunday at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. from the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral 
Home, with services conducted by Robert Franke of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.  
Pallbearers will be grandsons.  Burial will be in Dewitt Cemetery.  
Arrangements made by Neller Funeral Home.
