LIFELONG RESIDENT OF IONIA COUNTY DIES AT BELDING
BELDING-Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Cusser, 85, life-long resident of Ionia
County are to be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Fales funeral home at Belding with burial in
the River Ridge cemetery. The Rev. Glenn E. Weimer will officiate.

Born in Orleans township November 6, 1852, Mrs. Cusser lived her entire life in
Ionia County.

Following her marriage to William Cusser, who died in 1923, the couple moved to a
farm near Orleans where they lived until 1900, when they moved to Belding, where she has
resided since.

Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Elva V. Tate of Portland, Ore., and two nieces,
Mrs. Margaret Strong at 213 S. Bridge street, Belding, with whom she had been living prior to her
death.

She was a member of the Belding Congregational church.
