Portland Review, 22 Mar 1932

Fred Cutler, Jr., 70, one of Ionia’s best known citizens, died at his home in 
that city Friday afternoon, after a long illness.  He was in the mercantile 
business many years and latterly manager of the Quality store.  He was also 
prominent in fraternal circles of the state, having been treasurer of the grand 
lodge of Odd Fellows many years.  Mr. Cutler was very active in republican county 
politics until other business interests demanded his attention.  He is survived 
by a daughter, Mrs. Ione Roehms.
