Ionia County News, 11 Sep 1947

Gene Bliss Cutler, 81, died at Bowling Green, Ky., Thursday, Sept. 4, and 
funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from Stone Funeral Home.

Mr. Cutler was born in Ionia, Oct. 5, 1866, the son of Dr. and Mrs. William 
Cutler.  He was married to Dora Vander Heyden and they went to Chicago where he 
was engaged in real estate business for some years.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Buohl, of New York.  Mrs. Glenn Gould of 
Ionia is a niece.

Rev. Everett A. Moore officiated at the funeral service and burial was in 
Highland Park cemetery.  Bearers were Glenn Gould, John Fravel, Ray Jameson and 
Kenneth Wheaton.
