Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Feb 1947

Charles O. Cutler, 83, life long resident of Ionia county died Saturday noon at
his home, 432 Price street.  He was born June 22, 1863, in Smyrna.  His life has
been spent as a farmer in Keene, Orleans and Easton townships.  He was married
to Ella Smith, June 23, 1889 at Orleans.  They celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary in 1939 at the county park. 

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Eva Houserman, and Mrs. Roy
Bradley of Ionia, Mrs. Allyn Grant of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Frank Braendle of
Carson City; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Frank Cutler
and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie McCombs and Mrs. John Howe all of Barryton.

The body will repose at his home until noon Tuesday.  Services will be held
Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Stone funeral home with the Rev. Adams Westmaas
officiating.  Interment will be at the Orleans cemetery.
