Cutler, 72, of 709 Isham St., Lyons, died April 23, 1988, at a Belding nursing home. Mr. Cutler was born Jan. 24, 1916, in Lyons Township, the son of Elmer and Myrtle Bacon Cutler. He was graduated from Muir High School with the class of 1934. He was married to Adra Dalzell on Jan. 1, 1938, in Muir. He retired as purchasing agent from the American Auto Felt in Lyons in 1964 and as a sergeant from Michigan Training Unit in 1980. He served as Lyons village president and clerk and as fire chief; he was also Lyons township clerk. He was a life member of Lyons F&AM No. 37 and was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife; one son, Daryl Cutler of Lansing; one daughter, Camilla Eavey of Lyons; two grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin of Arcadia and Duane of Ovid; and a half sister, Cheryl York of Ovid. One daughter preceded him in death. Services were April 26 at Lyons United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bette Dobbie officiating. Interment was in Muir Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Lyons United Methodist Church in care of the funeral chapel.
