Cuttle, 66, of Ionia, died Saturday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1914, the son of Harry and Elizabeth Austin Cuttle. He graduated from Ionia High School in 1932, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and after discharge from service was employed by Gibson Refrigerator Co. in both the Balding and Greenville plants. He served two terms as president of the Gibson union and retired in 1973. He also served as labor negotiator for the city of Ionia for several years. He is survived by a son, Kim Cuttle of Lansing; and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Candace) Vogel of Ionia. Eight grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home, the Rev. James R. Frank of Galilee Baptist Church of Saranac officiating. Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.
