Ionia Sentinel – 4 August 1967
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Marian Cvetnich, 45, who died at her home in 
Pewamo, Thursday, will be Monday at 2 pm at Pewamo Methodist Church with the 
Rev. Stephen Beach officiating.  Interment will be in Muir cemetery.  Mrs. 
Cvetnich was born October 8, 1921, daughter of George and Helen Rowe, and is a 
graduate of Portland High School.  She married George Cvetnich September 15, 
1946 at Portland.

Mrs. Cvetnich was an active member of Pewamo Methodist church.  She was 
pianist, director and member of the choir, Sunday school teacher, member of 
the board of trustees and of the church WSCS and mother club.  

Surviving are her husband George, five daughters and two sons at home, Linda, 
Dorothy, George and Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Stemler of Sunfield and 
Mrs. Gerald Cook of Portland; her stepmother, Mrs. Marian Rowe of Grand 
Ledge.  The bod will be at Shaw Rivett Hull funeral home in Muir until the 
funeral.
